Trips & Excursions

As far as travelling and excursions are concerned, GADIR regularly organises trips around the province of Cádiz.

Such trips include:

– El Puerto de Santa María and Jerez de la Frontera, world-famous for their wine cellars.

– The White Villages , such as Arcos de la Frontera, Vejer de la Frontera, Medina Sidonia, Zahara de la Sierra etc.,

– The Costa de la Luz, from Cádiz to Tarifa and Gibraltar.

– Together with our partner RUTA SIETE, we also offer 4×4 trips to Marshlands Guadalquivir – Natural Park Doñana, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and the Natural park “Los Alcornocales” in Cádiz.

What is more, from Cádiz it is very easy to visit the main Andalusian cities (such as Sevilla, Córdoba and Granada), as well as neighbouring countries: Morocco and Portugal.

One to one Lessons

Individual Lessons for one person: We are now offering private lessons (online or in Cádiz) in which you can decide exactly what you want to learn. Lessons can cover General Spanish for example extra Pronunciation and Speaking practice, but also specific work-related topics for example preparing for a specific exam. This type of tuition is particularly where students have very particular needs or when participants wish to learn very intensively. The student decides how many classes he/she wants and what he/she wishes to study in them (so-called “made-to-measure” classes): Lessons are created specifically for your own language requirements It’s absolutely safe: no contact with other students You have total personal attention from your teacher – you are learning all the time You can ask for as much error correction, explanations and feedback as you want without worrying about any other students in the class You can study at your speed. Go faster or slow down You speak for the majority of the lesson time, so it is really intensive learning. You can work on confidential or sensitive work-related material that you would not want to share with other students You practise, revise and re-use new vocabulary and grammar continuously Two-to-one tuition is also available to two participants travelling together. Cadiz, the oldest city in Europe

The land on which the historic centre of Cadiz lies is the extremity of a small island located in the Atlantic Ocean and near to the mouth of the Guadalquivir river and the Straits of Gibraltar. Different cultures have followed one another in this enclave, after the foundation of GADIR by the Phoenicians around the year 1.000 B.C.: Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs, Christians, etc. The Atlantic Ocean has determined the history of Cadiz from its origins to the present day. The Ocean surrounds Cadiz on all four cardinal points. This has been, is and always will be our link with the world. – To the north, we discover the Bay of Cadiz, in whose setting we find the production of the famous wines of El Puerto de Santa Maria, Jerez de la Frontera or Sanlucar de Barrameda. Beyond the Bay, we arrive at Seville, a city known to everyone. – To the south, we are taken to the Straits of Gibraltar and Morocco, to cities such as Tangiers, Casablanca, Fez… – To the west, the Ocean becomes bigger, immense and brings us airs from America. – To the east, a narrow sliver of land joins us to the rest of Andalusia and leads us to the White Villages in the mountains, such as Arcos de la Frontera, Vejer, Ronda… …wherever you go, in Cadiz the sea will always be with you.
