From October 2015 there are specific requirements for acquiring Spanish nationality.
Firstly, it will be necessary to pass a test demonstrating a basic knowledge of the Spanish language: the DELE Spanish diploma, level A2 or higher. Secondly, there will be a test to demonstrate a knowledge of the Spanish constitution and the current social and cultural situation in Spain: the CCSE (Constitutional and socio-cultural knowledge of Spain).
The CCSE tests will be held on the last Thursday of every month (except August and December) at a time given by the Instituto Cervantes. The test has been developed by the Instituto Cervantes and is made up of twenty-five multiple choice questions.
Some questions will have three possible answers, only one of which is correct. Others will have a true/false answer. The test will last 45 minutes and will be carried out in the modern-day Spanish spoken in Spain.
The CCSE test will be held at GADIR the last Thursday of every month.
